SUNCOAST CASINO FINALISTS WIN BIG AT TSOGO SUN SLOTS FACTOR TOURNAMENT!

Three lucky Durban ladies walked away with combined winnings of R210 000 at the recent Tsogo Sun Slots Factor Tournament which took place at Gold Reef City in Johannesburg.

Certainly the biggest winner of the three was Reservoir Hills resident, Moganamal Naicker (56) who walked away with 3rd place and R100 000 in cash. Martha Pillay (49), also of Reservoir Hills walked away with 4th place and R75 000 and Thumedhree Munien, a Malvern resident took home R35 000.

“I was looking forward to going home with that R1,1 Million, and when there were only five of us left in the competition I really thought I had it in the bag,” says Moganamal Naicker. “Congratulations also to Delin, who won the grand prize, and to the other participants. I was lucky enough to walk away with R100 000, which is a lot of money. All this would not have been possible had it not been for the Tsogo Sun Slots Factor.”

The Tsogo Sun Slots Factor Tournament has made four instant millionaires since launching four years ago.  Runners-up and the winners of various rounds in the tournament have also been paid out millions of rands in total. The 10 week tournament – which was open to all casino-goers over the age of 18 – gave patrons a chance of winning a guaranteed first prize of R1,1 Million cash..

A total of 140 finalists from 14 Tsogo Sun Casino Properties around the country travelled to Gold Reef City hoping to win the main prize of R1,1 Million on Saturday, 1 October, and Durban-based casino Suncoast was represented by their Top 10 Finalists.

This year saw Witbank resident Delin Cochrane walking away with the R1,1 Million prize money and runner-up Jacko Hendricks receiving R200 000. With prize money of over R1,6 million given away to the top 10 grand finalist, it was night to remember. .

“We are proud of the Suncoast team who did extremely well in the finals – finishing 3rd, 4th and 8th respectively,” says SUNCOAST Marketing Manager, Louise Howell. “Whilst KZN didn’t win this year, we are hopeful that next year will be our turn. The Suncoast finalists whose entries ranged from 2 to 116 times for just R100 per entry left with a combined win of R210 000 in prize money. It really shows that anyone can play and anyone can win, you don’t have to enter a lot of times for a chance to win.”
