On 4 February, Africa Albida Tourism hosted the first in a series titled “Exploring Vic Falls with Africa Albida Tourism”, in which the Southern African hospitality group will tackle topics relevant to the destination of Victoria Falls in informal virtual networking sessions.
The virtual sessions, which are scheduled to be held each first Thursday of the month, will cover various topics key to the destination, and bring together the travel trade and media and industry experts.
The sessions are facilitated by Africa Albida Tourism’s (AAT) Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate General Manager, Anald Musonza, supported by the group’s Sales, PR and Marketing teams, both from Zimbabwe and internationally.
The sessions were born from a desire by the group to keep its trade partners fully up to date with happenings on the ground in Victoria Falls, and for the opportunity to engage in a casual setting with good friends across the trade, as well as to maintain relationships during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns when face-to-face meetings have not been possible.
In 2020 the sessions started off as “Vic Falls Fridays” but were moved to Thursdays and renamed following feedback from AAT’s trade partners.
The next session of Exploring Vic Falls with AAT will be held on Thursday 4 March. A live Facebook link is also available for the sessions.
