As Part of the VOW Campaign AHF South Africa represented by the Country Program Director went to deliver a petition to The German Consulate in Pretoria in South Africa urging the German Government to reconsider signing the TRIPS waiver on the COVID-19 drug patents. The main goal being improving Covid -19 Vaccine equity Globally by allowing the Vaccine to be produced Globally and at cheaper cost. The petition was delivered to the Ambassador Dr Thomas in the presence of Media Houses and two South African Police who were there to observe the process. Dr Dube the Country Program Manager had an opportunity to brief the ambassador about the VOW Campaign before handing over the Petition.
